1954 – 2004
RUMFORD – Steward W. Young, Jr., 49, died Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Rumford Community Hospital. He was a resident of 101 Young’s Park Road in Mexico.
Born in Rumford, on Oct. 20, 1954, he was the son of Steward and Georgie (Hayden) Young Sr. He graduated from Mexico High School and I.T. Technical College in Boston. He owned and operated S.W. Young Construction Inc. with his father and Your Choice Fuel Corp. with his wife.
He loved to fly his plane and was a member of AOPA. He enjoyed operating heavy equipment.
He was married in Mexico, on Dec. 1, 1984, to Janine Goguen who survives of Mexico; other survivors include his precious daughter, Brooke of Mexico; his father, Steward Young Sr. of Mexico; his sister, Karen Barrett and her husband James of Mexico; paternal grandmother; Ferdona Young of Mexico.
