Lady Hornets prevail
TURNER – Nine different players scored as the Turner/Greene Lady Hornets defeated the Fairfield Lady Bulldogs 46-18 in the Central Maine Girls Junior High Travel Basketball League.
Leading scorer was Ashley Bryant with 7 points plus inspired defense. Liz Moreau chipped in with 3 points and 6 rebounds. Juliana Kirkland added 4 points, while Morgen and Brooke Bernier combied for another 15.
