Nomination papers for seven elective seats are available at the town office. Elections are tentatively set for March 12.

Those interested in running for municipal office must gather the signatures of at least 25 registered voters then turn the papers into the town office by Saturday, Feb. 14.

Administrative Assistant Kathy Hutchins said selectmen seats held by Tammi Richardson, a college student, and Sue Gammon, a small business owner, will expire at town meeting time. Both served for at least two, three-year terms, and both have said they don’t plan to run for re-election.

Two three-year terms on the Planning Board are also up for election. Those seats are held by long-time member Donald Adams, a small business owner, and Hutchins. Hutchins hasn’t decided whether to seek a second term.

Expiring at town meeting are the SAD 21 directors seats held by Ben McCollister, a banking employee, and John Blancato, a social service agency employee. Both terms are for three years.

Nomination papers are also available for road commissioner, a job held by Craig Gammon, who along with caring for the town’s roads, is a farmer. The position is for one year.

Hutchins said the town meeting has tentatively been set for Saturday, March 13 at the Municipal Building.
