Incidents

• Jan. 12 – Narcotic incident, York Street. Because the incident is under investigation, police Monday refused to divulge details.

• Jan. 10 – Burglary at Franklin Street residence. Citing an ongoing investigation, police Monday refused to divulge details about the incident.

• Jan. 10, 3:27 p.m. – A 1996 Jeep driven by Sylvanus H. Glover, 43, of Andover, backed out of a Hannaford store parking lot, striking an eastbound 2003 Honda sedan driven by Lesa M. Brown, 33, of Bethel. According to the police report, Glover was blinded by the sun and failed to see the Honda. Glover’s Jeep sustained an estimated $1,000 damage, while Brown’s Honda sustained an estimated $2,000 damage.

Arrests

• Samantha M. Paul, 20, of Rumford, on a warrant alleging failure to pay fine, on Jan. 12. She was released on $160 cash bail.

• Michelle E. Chartier, 20, of Rumford, on a warrant for revocation of probation, on Jan. 11. She was transported to Oxford County jail in Paris.

Summons

• A 17-year-old Rumford boy, during a traffic stop on Franklin Street, on a charge of illegal transportation of drugs, on Jan. 12.
