1912 – 2004
LEWISTON – Alice A. Stone, 86, of 100 Campus Ave., Lewiston, died Sunday, Jan. 11, at the d’Youville Pavilion Nursing Home.
Born in Lisbon Falls on Jan. 16, 1912, she was the daughter of Pierre and Cornelie Nadeau Touchette. Educated locally, she was employed in the area textile industry prior to her retirement. She was married to Norman L. Stone Sr., who passed away on Dec. 14, 2003.
A member of Holy Family Parish, she is survived by a stepson, Norman L. Stone Jr. of Lewiston; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Lemieux of Lewiston; two stepgrandchildren, Marcel Cloutier and Shelia Cloutier; and several nieces and nephews.
