Letter writer Barbara Berquist hit the nail right on the head (Jan. 10).
Who needs to know if there is water on Mars? Is the government planning on bottling it and selling it to us?
She is right about the security problem also. Destroying dams etc. would cause more havoc than an occasional plane destruction, as terrible as that is.
It’s about time the government started taking better care of us seniors and worrying less about what’s on a dead planet.
