MEXICO – Memorial services for Steward W. Young Jr. of Mexico were conducted Friday at the Mexico Congregational Church with the Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham officiating. Music selections were “A Lot of Things different,” “When I Close My Eyes,” and “Butterfly Kisses.” The Rev. Snapp-Cunningham read words of remembrance written by his wife Janine; the poem “Steward,” written by Wendy Pelletier; and the poem “The Cost,” by Dorothy Monroe. A reception followed the services at the VFW Hall in Rumford. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
