LEWISTON – The spring semester at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn campus will get under way Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Registration for the spring semester is still open and will continue through the first week of classes. Space remains available in a number of courses, including College Writing, Intro to Literature, Economics, Sociology, Developmental Psychology, Statistics, Public Speaking and Critical Thinking.

Most courses meet weekly starting at 9 a.m., 1, 4 or 7 p.m.

Interested students are asked to call 753-6500 to request a course guide, general assistance or to schedule an appointment with an academic adviser. Some evening appointments are available.

The campus bookstore is open for extended hours through Jan. 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 to 4 p.m. Friday.
