BRUNSWICK – Mary Walker McLean, 63, of Lois St., Lisbon Falls, died Saturday, Jan. 17, at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.
She was born in Cape Elizabeth, March 1, 1940, the daughter of Fred and Lucia Moon Dearborn. She attended Cape Elizabeth schools. On Dec. 15, 1956, she married Arthur G. McLean.
Mrs. McLean was a homemaker devoted to raising her children. She was known to her grandchildren as “Big Grammy” and enjoyed spending quality time with them. In her younger years, she told of having lunch with Bette Davis in Cape Elizabeth. She also enjoyed cooking.
Surviving, besides her husband of Lisbon Falls, are: two sons, Arthur G. McLean III of Lisbon Falls and John H. McLean of Brunswick; two daughters, Lucia Knight of Sanford and Kathleen Bernier of Lisbon Falls; a brother, Everett Dearborn of Calais; and also ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
