MONMOUTH – Kristen Arsenault netted a game-high 25 points Monday to pace Mountain Valley to a 57-39 win over Monmouth.

The Falcons stepped out to a 35-18 lead at the half and were never seriously challenged.

Sasha Theriault chipped in for the Falcons with 14 points. Brittany Scirica led the Mustangs with 16 points, while Courtney Barrett added seven.

Eastgate Christian 47, Highview Christian 36

NEW GLOUCESTER – Haley Veilleux scored 11 of her 18 points in the first quarter to lead Eastgate Christian Academy to a fast start and a 47-36 victory over Highview Christian Academy.

Angie Elvin chipped in with 10 points for the Eagles (10-2).

Sarah Lewis and Linda Perreira drained a combined 25 points in the Highview (7-5) losing cause.

Winthrop 44, G. Valley 38

WINTHROP – Anna Warner scored 10 points to lead Winthrop to a 44-38 victory over Georges Valley.

The Ramblers trailed 15-6 and 21-18 at the end of the first two quarters before taking command in the second half.

Emilie Knight chipped in with eight points for the Ramblers (6-7) and Nicki Emery had seven.

The Buccaneers (4-9) were paced by Rachel Campbell with 11 points and Heather Watts with 10.

Carrabec 51, Lisbon 36

CARRABEC – Kelly Rudman, Megen Merrill, and Marie Williams each scored 13 points as Carrabec rolled past Lisbon to a 51-36 win.

The Cobras (1-11) claimed their first win of the season.

Krystal Doughty and Dominique Mathieu each netted 13 points to pace the Greyhound (0-14).

Dirigo 82,

Livermore Falls 28

LIVERMORE FALLS – Alexa Kaubris scored 24 points and hauled down five rebounds to lead Dirigo to a 82-28 romp over Livermoree Falls.

Michelle Holmquist chipped in for the Cougars (12-0) with 19 points, while Holly Knight added 10.

Caryn Howe led the scoring effort for the Andies (3-9) with eight points, while Jenika Kelly added six.

Mt. Blue 50, Morse 41

BATH – Amy Mansir poured in 16 points as Mt. Blue rolled past Morse 50-41 in KVAC girls’ hoops action Monday.

Heather Groder added eight points, while Beth Jordan and Christina Mosher combined for 14 points for the Cougars (6-5).

The Shipbuilders were paced by Sidney Perkins and Sarah Wells with 14 points apiece.

Wiscasset 52,

Mt. Abram 48

SALEM – Sarah Whitfield netted 15 points to pace Wiscasset to a 52-48 MVC win over Mt. Abram in a girls’ basketball matchup. Jesse Matzell chipped in for the Redskins (9-4) with 14 points.

Brianna Wilkins led the scoring effort for the Roadrunners (9-4) with a 12-point performance, while Emily Stinchfield added nine.

Rangeley 73,

Greenville 33

RANGELEY – Justine Frost-Kolva poured in 19 points and hauled down eight rebounds as Rangeley dominated Greenville with a 73-33 triumph.

Krysteen Romero recorded 15 points and 11 rebounds for the undefeated Rangeley Lakers (8-0). Rosie LaPointe sank seven points and had three steals and three assists.

Rica Breton scored nine points, while Beth Bartley and Hannah Breton each netted eight points apiece for Greenville (9-4).

Hebron 27, Elan 13

HEBRON – Maddy Campbell and Danielle Dawson combined for 19 points as Hebron defeated Elan 27-13.

Elan scored 11 of its 13 points in the first quarter. Nicole Graham scored nine for the Bucs.

Kents Hill 70, Gould 34

BETHEL – Aleigh Mills netted a game-high 22 points and pulled down 16 rebounds to pace Kents Hill to a 70-34 rout over Gould.

Olivia Clukey chipped in for Kents Hill (8-0) with 18 points.

Heather Kelleher led the scoring effort for Gould (3-6) with 11 points, while Suzi Jump tallied 10.
