SCARBOROUGH – Eva L. (Bolduc) Chasse, 96, formerly of 88 Saco Ave., Old Orchard Beach, died Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Pine Point Nursing Home.

Born at St Marie de Beauce, P.Q., Canada, Oct. 15, 1907, a daughter of Gedeon and Celina Drouin Jalbert, she was educated in Canadian schools.

She was married to Romeo Bolduc, who died in 1976. She later married Philip Chasse, who died in October of 1978. She worked as a folder at Lown Shoe and loved spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Claudette Amnott and husband, Normand of Arizona and Lorraine Fortier and husband, Roland of Old Orchard Beach; a son, Denis Bolduc and his wife, Jeannine of Florida; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, Gilbert Chasse and wife, Diane of Quebec, Lucien Chasse and wife, Mariel of Montreal and Marcel Chasse and wife, Marcella of Quebec; eight stepgrandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; three sisters, Corinne Duperre of Pennsylvania, and Germaine Martel and Gertrude Fournier of Lewiston; and a brother, Alfred Jalbert of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by a son, Raymond Bolduc; a stepson and his wife, Richard and Theresa Chasse; two sisters, Juliette Bilodeau and Antoinette Poisson; and two brothers, Arthur and Pete Jalbert.
