1905 – 2004

MANCHESTER, Conn. – Mildred “Tillie” M. Jepson Small, 98, of Lewiston, widow of Charles Small of New Gloucester, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the home of her daughter, Connie and son-in-law, Patrick Connors in Manchester, Conn.

She was born on May 4, 1905, in Lewiston, daughter of the late John Jepson and Etta Conley Jepson. She lived in Lewiston for 90 years prior to moving to Manchester, Conn.

She was an elementary school teacher at Dingley School and Coburn School in Lewiston for 43 years. She was a member of the Maine Retired teachers Association.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie and son-in-law, Patrick Connors; several nieces and nephews in Lewiston; grandnieces and nephews; great-grandnieces and nephews; a sister in law, Helen Hinkley and brother-in-law, William Small formerly of New Gloucester.

She was predeceased by her brother, John Jepson.
