Dear Sun Spots: I have used your services before with great success and am asking to use it again.

I am the director of the New Life Community Center in Lewiston, and I run a nonprofit program for preschool children two times a month. The program is called “Peek a Boo Puppets.” We sing and dance with the children, tell stories and do a puppet show.

I am looking for people who would like to be part of this program for a few hours a month. I need a puppeteer and clowns. Since I have many years’ experience, I am willing to train anyone interested. I would also like to find someone who can play a guitar to help us do song times. If you are interested, please call (207) 782-1112 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and ask for Thelma. – Thelma Gurschick, Lewiston.

Dear Sun Spots: I have writing because I am very frustrated with my credit. I have tried several different companies that I thought would help me. They have given different references to lenders that accept bad creditors or bankruptcy, unfortunately all the listings they gave me don’t allow me to qualify. I am just looking for a lender that’s going to give me a chance. I am older now and more responsible than when my debt occurred. I am very aware that I am capable of making a loan payment every month. I would rather not claim bankruptcy or do the credit-counselor thing because I need the cash to get ahead. If you can find a bank that will allow me to take out a loan, I would greatly appreciate it. – Tessa Manzer, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: In response to No Name, Oxford, on Jan. 19, who was looking for a Reader’s Digest “How To Do Just About Anything A-Z Guide”: We have a copy here in our store, Artios Books, for $12.95. We can be reached at (207) 786-4007 or at 180 Turner St., Auburn. We are open six days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Dear Sun Spots: A little while back, someone wanted to know where the show “The Waltons” went to. I was unable to reply sooner as I had to leave for a funeral out of town. The show now is playing at 6 to 7 a.m. on Channel 64 in the Lewiston area, which is TVLND.

Now, may I ask a similar question? Where has the show “Little House on the Prairie” gone to? It used to be on TBS every morning 10 a.m. to noon. I cannot find it in any schedule. If someone could help me out with this one, I would greatly appreciate it. I probably have seen every episode of these two shows, but it is so much better television entertainment than what is presently being shown. Thank you. – Ann Howaniec, Lewiston.
