Here we go again.

It is so predictable. I am referring to the story on the Allens (Jan 9, Shaken baby). Why is it that the Sun Journal, and seemingly every other newspaper, showcases what the state has to say, rather than investigating the truth? Is it because it is easier to merely write a story or are the newspapers merely mouthpieces for the state?

Why didn’t the Sun Journal write about what the lawyers for the defense had to say in more detail?

Why weren’t their arguments presented in full as a headline?

I submit the reason is that balanced and accurate reporting wouldn’t sell newspapers.

A statement was made that this case would not be tried in the press. Well, it is and will continue to be as long as no one cares about the truth.

It is so predictable.
