It is our understanding that the Sun Journal has a contractual agreement with its subscribers to distribute USA Weekend to those subscribers. We have already paid for it.

For the newspaper to choose not to distribute that supplement because some readers may be offended by an obscenity it contains is one thing: understandable.

For the newspaper to refuse to provide a copy of that supplement to a subscriber who requests it is entirely another thing: unethical.

We did not pay for the newspaper to be told to go read it online. If the newspaper will decide what words are not suitable for us to read, what will they censor next? Ideas?

Journalistic integrity is very important to us. We have chosen to cancel our subscription.
