• Vehicles driven by Helen Alden, 78, of Auburn, and Sandra Moreau, 48, of Poland, collided at 4:50 p.m. Monday on Manley Road. Damage to Alden’s 2001 Honda was estimated at $5,000; to the 1996 Chevrolet, driven by Moreau and owned by Jim’s Auto Sales, of Auburn, $2,500.

• Patricia Regner, 28, of Lewiston, lost control of her vehicle while swerving to avoid an animal in the roadway and struck a utility pole and tree at 5:28 p.m. Monday on Broad Street. Damage to her 1993 Ford was estimated at $2,000.
