Rangeley remains unbeaten

RANGELEY – Justine Frost-Kolva netted 13 points and pulled down six rebounds to lead Rangeley to a 68-24 rout over Greater Portland Christian in girls’ basketball action Tuesday.

Sabrina Clark chipped in for the Lakers (12-0) with 12 points, while Krysteen Romero tallied 11 points and Rosie Lapointe added 10. Ashley Morton boosted the defensive effort with five rebounds.

Emily Johnson led Greater Portland (14-2) with 10 points, while Casey Eastwood added eight. The Lakers held a 45-10 lead at the half and were never seriously challenged.

Falmouth 56, St.Dom’s 39

AUBURN – Bethany Graffam poured in 16 points as Falmouth downed St. Dom’s 56-39 Tuesday evening.

Cara Kilroy (10) and Jill Jones (12) joined Graffam in double digits for the Yachtsmen. Falmouth went into half-time with a 25-16 advantage, and never let St.Dom’s back into the game, putting up 21 more in the third. Falmouth improved to 8-4 with the win.

Brittany Gilbert led St.Dom’s scorers with 15 points and was the lone Saint in double figures. St.Dom’s falls to 3-9 with the loss.

Kents Hill 51, Averill 13

KENTS HILL – Olivia Clouky tallied a game-high 13 points to give Kents Hill a 51-13 win over Averill.

At the half, the Huskies (11-0) were 30 points ahead of the Beavers (0-16) and sped along to the win. The Beavers’ Tyonya Richardson and Lisa Seavy combined for 10 points.

Eastgate 47, Hebron 27

NEW GLOUCESTER – Haley Vielleux netted a game-high 18 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to pace Eastgate Christian to a 47-27 victory over Hebron

Brittany Legare chipped in for the Eagles (11-4) with eight points, while Emilee Michaud added six. The Eagles had six players score in the 17-point third quarter, helping seal the win.

Danielle Dawson led the scoring for Hebron (2-8) with seven points, while Heidi Lurvey and Abby Lavigne added six apiece.

Waynflete 48, Buckfield 25

BUCKFIELD – Kahliah Ummah poured in game-high 19 points to lead Waynflete to a 48-28 victory over Buckfield.

Surrette Noelle chipped in with 11 points for the Flyers (13-1).

Chelsey Allen of the Bucks (1-13) netted 11 points.

Mt. Blue 55, Lawrence 42

FAIRFIELD – Christina Mosher drained 23 points to pace Mt Blue to a 55-42 win over Lawrence in KVAC girls’ basketball action.

Heather Groter chipped in for the Cougars (7-5) with 10 points, while Amy Mansir added eight. The Cougars stepped out to a 28-19 lead in the first half and never trailed.

Holly Noyes led the Bulldogs (5-7) with a 22-point performance.
