PARIS – The Rotary Club of Oxford Hills and the Education Exchange announces the January Students of the Month at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
Representing the freshman class is Zac Massat, the sophomore class is represented by Chris Pike, the junior class by Meredith Jones and the senior class by Ashley Lewis.
Each month, the high school staff nominates students they feel have “made a difference in their classroom.” The goal is to reward teamwork, positive behavior, extra effort and good student citizenship.
These students were praised for their kindness and active involvement in and out of their classrooms. The students’ names and picture are placed on a plaque that hangs in the hallway next to the school library. In addition, each month the four students enjoy pizza with the principal.
In June all of the students are honored at a Rotary breakfast.
