AUBURN – Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at the Odd Fellows Hall, 50 Elm St. Members will report volunteer hours and mileage for the Mother Hubbard project. Priscilla Campbell, Mother Hubbard’s helper for the lodge, will give a report on the project. A program of games and quizzes will follow.
Pomona Grange
GREENE – Androscoggin Pomona Grange 1 will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Androscoggin Grange 8 for a 6:30 p.m. supper. The program at 7:30 will feature speakers Meridith Robinson and Bob Hanby of Hebron.
Both former Hebron Academy teachers, they will speak on the year that they spent teaching in the village of Shishmaref on an Alaskan barrier island in the Bering Strait.
The public is invited to the program. There will be an attendance drawing, which will be awarded to some Pomona member who is present. A business meeting will follow the program.
