GRAY – Olivia Ryan and Dawn Ross scored 10 points apiece as Gray-New Gloucester sailed to a 58-35 WMC win over St. Dom’s.

Freshman Abby Gilbert scored a team-high eight points for the Saints on three field goals and two from the line.

Ross powered the Patriots (15-1) to a 28-14 lead at the midpoint, scoring all 10 points in the first half.

Rangeley 56, Vinalhaven 28

VINALHAVEN – Rangeley remained unbeaten Friday night, using a 25-4 advantage in the third quarter on its way to a 56-28 East-West Conference girls’ basketball victory over Vinalhaven.

Sarah Schrader led the Lakers (14-0) with 25 points. Krysteen Romero added 20. Brianna Osgood topped the Vikings (8-5) with 11 points.

Gould 33, Hebron 32

BETHEL – Whitney Bliss and Heather Kelleher each scored 11 points for Gould, which held on for a 33-32 Class D win over Hebron.

Gould (6-9) led by 10 early in the fourth quarter before foul trouble set in, and the Huskies were held scoreless the rest of the way. Maddy Campbell led Hebron with 10 points. Danielle Dawson and Kainami Stevens each added nine.

Valley 64, Buckfield 25

BINGHAM – Sophomore guard Kristen Baker registered 16 points as Valley routed Buckfield 64-25 in the EWC.

Emma McAllister and Jeri Fitzmaurice hauled down 10 rebounds apiece for Valley (12-2), which led 36-10 at the half. In addition to Baker’s 12 steals and five assists, Melanie Vicneire tossed in 11 points.
