RUMFORD – Student trips abroad, a new teacher and kitchen equipment are to be acted on by the SAD 43 board Monday. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the library at Mountain Valley High School.

Cheryl Gallant will present information about a student trip to Montreal in March. Renee Thompson will present information about a student trip to France during summer vacation.

Anne Breau has been nominated by the superintendent for a teaching position during the 2003-04 school year.

Directors also must act to replace a kitchen steamer at Mountain Valley Middle School.

Other agenda items include:

• The appointment of Maureen Desjardins as a nutrition services helper at the high school.

• Resignations at the high school of Robert Winchell, alternative education instructor, and Tim McInnis, mathematics teacher/athletic director.

• Resignation of Gearry Judkins, districtwide computer technician.

• Tim Gallant’s report of public damage resulting from the winter snowstorm of Dec. 6 and 7.

Aside from administrative and committee reports, an executive session is scheduled to discuss a personnel matter.

Prior to the board meeting, the Finance Committee is to meet at 5:45 p.m. in the high school principal’s office to discuss the steamer replacement, the December financial statement and the annual financial report.
