NEW BEDFORD, Mass. – Debra-Lynn Dalton, 44, of Seventh Street, New Bedford, a nursing aid, died Sunday, Feb. 1, at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of Robert E. Cote.

Born in Lewiston, on Sept. 29, 1959, she was the daughter of Sandra (Cote) Ahlquist of Wareham and the late Peter Dalton.

She was educated in Attleboro schools and attended Attleboro High School. She was currently employed for the past 12 years as a nursing aid at Cape Cod Nursing Home in Buzzards Bay, Mass. She had resided in New Bedford the past three years, earlier residing in Buzzards Bay for 10 years. She enjoyed reading, the beach and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters, Nicole S. Dalton of Wareham and Ashley R. Dalton of New Bedford; two brothers, Timothy Dalton of Bourne and Peter Dalton of Foxboro; two sisters, Keisha Foster of Rehoboth and Valerie Dalton of Attleboro; three grandchildren, Darrein Anderson, Amani A. Lopez and Julein J. Lopez; many nieces and nephews.
