LIVERMORE – Fire destroyed a garage and workshop at 82 Keith St., which runs along Brettuns Pond, early Monday. A state fire investigator was called to try to determine the cause.
Fourteen firefighters from Livermore, Livermore Falls and Turner responded to the fire call at 5:15 a.m., Livermore Assistant Chief Don Castonguay said. The garage was “fully engulfed when we got there,” he said.
A neighbor reported the fire after seeing a glow, Castonguay said.
Keith Ward is the owner of the garage, which was about 30 feet away from his mobile home, Castonguay said.
