HARTFORD, Conn. – Jennie Samson, 71, of Manchester, Conn., widow of Robert N. Samson, died Sunday, Jan. 11, at Hartford Hospital.
Born in Lewiston, Aug. 15, 1933, the daughter of Anthony and Tekla Howaniec, she was educated in the Lewiston school system, graduating from Lewiston High School.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Carol Samson of Sevenoaks, England, Peter and Joanne Samson of Bolton, Conn., and Steven and Lauren Samson of Newton, Conn.; her daughter, Donna and son-in-law, John Krenicki of Richmond, Mass.; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Janet Howaniec of Punta Gorda, Fla., Stanley and Paulette Howaniec of Mesquite, Nev., and John and Annette Howaniec of Lewiston; and 11 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; and her brother, Frank. Funeral services were held in Bolton, Conn.
