William Kieffer III of Bethel has been elected as a Maine Community Foundation director.
He was elected along with Anne Collins of Northport and Calvin True of Brewer.
“These individuals are already bringing energy and expertise to our board,” said foundation President Henry Schmelzer.
A graduate of Middlebury College, Kieffer served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam.
He worked for State Street Corp. in Boston from 1973 to 2002 when he retired as vice president and senior consultant for State Street Analytics.
Kieffer serves on the board of trustees of Gould Academy and the board of directors of the Middle Intervale Meeting House in Bethel.
