Dear Sun Spots: My name is Brittany Stott. I have blonde hair and blue eyes. I like to camp, swim, take hikes and I like to do arts and crafts. I also like animals a lot. I don’t like homework and I don’t like sports.

I live with my mom, dad, little brother, a cat and a dog. We live in Muskegon, Mich., very close to Lake Michigan. I go to Orchard View Middle School and am in the 8th grade. It’s a medium sized school and also has lots of students.

I am writing because we are learning about the different types of letters and how to write them. It’s also because we want to learn about the different states in our country. I hope that the really nice citizens will send me a postcard or a brochure about your state. Everyone in my class has a different state. We will keep track of the locations on a large map in our room.

Thank you in advance for putting my letter in the paper. I hope to learn many new things about the state of Maine. I hope to learn about the animals in the state of Maine. I hope that the citizens will send my class and I facts about the state. It would be cool to hear from schools that are in the state of Maine. Thank you.
