I congratulate the New England Patriots on their second Super Bowl victory.

The game was great. The halftime show was disappointing. And I’m not talking about the Janet Jackson exposure. I’m talking about how Kid Rock had the nerve to come out on stage wearing an American flag with a hole cut in the middle. How unpatriotic and how wrong that was. That, to me, was defacing the American flag.

With everything the United States has gone through, with Sept. 11 and our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, what Kid Rock did with the American flag was so, so wrong.

He should apologies to all the troops overseas and to all the families who have lost love ones. I’m not the only one who feels this was wrong. I had a house full of people who felt the same way.
