SOUTH PARIS – Eric John Dargie, 21, of South Paris died Thursday, Feb. 5, at his home.

He was born in Lewiston on March 3, 1982, the son of Raymond and Shirley Rowe Dargie. He grew up in Oxford and graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. He was employed by Oxford Homes installing vinyl siding.

He had been a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout. He attended Sunday school at the First Congregational Church in Oxford. He enjoyed music, videos, the outdoors and he loved to repair electronics. He married Amy Lee Davis on May 24, 2003.

He is survived by his wife of South Paris; a daughter, MacKenzie of South Paris; his parents, Raymond and Shirley Dargie of Oxford; his in-laws, Robert and Jean Davis of Norway; three brothers, Christopher and his fiancée Chistina Radcliffe of Harrison, Andrew and Nicholas both of Oxford; grandparents, Charles and Thoma Rowe of Oxford and Juliette Dargie of Lisbon; aunts and uncles, Charles R. Rowe and his wife Dianne of South Paris, Russell A. Rowe and his companion Jennifer Adams of South Paris, Roger and Valerie Dargie of Poland and Doris Dargie of Lisbon; and his best friends, Greg Bellwood of East Oxford, Joshua Doyle of South Paris and Ryan Dillingham of West Paris.
