LEEDS – A special committee has scheduled Les Fossel to survey the old town house at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8. An expert on old buildings, Fossel is the owner of Restoration Resources in Alna.

The Old Town House Committee is interested in ascertaining what the interior appearance would have been in the 19th century. It especially wants to know about chimney placement, platform and wall covering.

Interested parties are invited to observe. The committee is interested in acquiring an expert opinion, but isn’t advocating employing a restoration firm.
