JAY – School Committee members voted Thursday to appoint Mary Redmond-Luce to the school board until the April 20 election.
Redmond-Luce was one of five candidates interviewed to fill Jim Durrell’s seat until the next election. Durrell resigned last month.
Other candidates seeking the position were Nancy Chaney, Jane Harvell, Robin Roberts and Judith St. Pierre.
