SOUTH PARIS – Trena Moccia sparked a 24-5 run in the second quarter as Oxford Hills built a 20-point advantage by halftime and coasted to a 70-36 girls’ basketball victory over Edward Little.
During the pivotal second period, Moccia scored all seven of her points, including a 3-pointer, to help the Vikings (6-8) take a 40-20 lead.
Annie Foster led the way with a game-high 13 points while Bri Thompson recorded eight steals in the win.
The Red Eddies were led by Brittany French with 11 points. Kate Dargie and Ali Keene combined for 16 points.
