1918 – 2004

GREENE – Bernadine Elnora Rines, 85, of Greene, died at her home on Friday, Feb. 6, with her loving family by her side.

She was born May 27, 1918, in Pittston, the daughter of John and Effie Lint Brayley.

She retired in 1986 from Webster Rubber in Sabattus. She enjoyed sewing, reading, old western movies, and beano.

Her greatest joy of all was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family.

She is survived by four daughters, Priscilla and her husband Ronald Maxim Sr. of Greene, Roberta and her husband Paul Peters of Mt. Vernon, June Bubier of Greene, Fern and her husband James Davis Sr. of Sabattus; two sons, William Rines and his wife Kathleen of Monmouth, and Timothy Rines and his wife Cindy of South Paris; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Walter M. Rines Sr. in 1969; one son, Walter M. Rines Jr. in 1988; and one daughter, Joyce L. Blanchard in 2001.
