FARMINGTON – Everyone’s Resource Depot invites children and adults to make their own valentines during workshops from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 10 to 13 at the depot.

Those who attend will be able to choose from a variety of materials including yarn and trim, card stock and red envelopes, glitter and sequins, odd bits of lace and ribbon and pretty papers. Many sample valentines and valentine projects will be on display to help stimulate creative imaginations. All ages are welcome to attend and a $1 fee will be charged to cover materials and instruction.

The depot is located in the basement of Franklin Hall at Main and South streets on the University of Maine at Farmington campus. It is open to the public from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Depot programs are offered to the public to create awareness of the fun involved in reusing scrap materials. It has been serving the greater Farmington community for 25 years. For more information, phone 778-7150.
