1932 – 2004

LEWISTON – Beverly J. Ferland, 71, of Lewiston passed away at her home on Monday, Feb. 9, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Skowhegan on May 2, 1932, the daughter of Ted and Fern (Akely) Bouford. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1950, and later attended Auburn Business School of Commerce.

She enjoyed life and embraced time with her family and friends.

She had many hobbies which included knitting, reading, playing cards, shopping, traveling, and volunteer work.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Edward Ferland of Lewiston with whom she raised four children, Karen Rivero and her husband Martin “Tony” stationed at Hanscom AFB, Robert Ferland and his wife Jocelyn of Casco, William Ferland of Lewiston, Lynda Morin and her husband Charles of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren; her two brothers, Bruce Bouford and his wife Olivia of Guatemala, James Bouford and his wife Diane, and their son, all of Augusta.
