FARMINGTON – A 59-year-old Farmington man was arrested last week on three misdemeanor charges, including one for domestic assault and another for unlawful sexual touching.

Donald Greenlaw was arrested Thursday by Detective David St. Laurent of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.

According to the detective, information came forward from “a concerned citizen” as well as the Department of Human Services alleging Greenlaw had allegedly sexually touched a teenage girl between the age of 13-15 once in late January or early February against her wishes.

The misdemeanor charge, explained St. Laurent, refers to any touching anywhere on the body, such as breasts, buttocks or legs, that is unwanted.

Greenlaw was also hit with a misdemeanor domestic assault charge for allegedly assaulting a family member and another misdemeanor for supposedly violating a protection from abuse order.

He is free having posted $500 cash bail, and he has a Feb. 25 appearance in district court.
