AUBURN – SHAREcenter, the regional nonprofit resource center for educational and imaginative supplies, provides free materials to its member schools and nonprofit organizations. Students, teachers, staff and clients access a variety of items while saving money.

SHAREcenter has two sites. It is open at the Great Falls Center, Academy Street, from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to noon the first and second Saturday each month. The center is open from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursdays at Building 376, Republic Avenue, Topsham.

SHAREcenter also sponsors the Green Zone, open to the public, with the same hours. Project materials in the Green Zone are available by making small donations. Items are available for preschoolers, students, Scouts, churches and senior citizens.

Call the center at 795-0972 to donate, volunteer or get membership information. Check for closings during school breaks or snow days.
