LIVERMORE – The Norlands Living History Center has made a couple changes to its presentation on the Washburn Lincoln connection planned Thursday, Feb. 12, in the center’s mansion.

The event has been changed to noon instead of 1 p.m. and will now be a Brown Bag Special with no charge to those who attend.

Previously, plans were for light refreshments to be served and for admission to be charged.

Members of the public are welcome to bring their own lunch and hear a presentation by Washburn descendant Kerck Kelsey. It will be about how one of the Washburn sons helped get Abraham Lincoln elected and what that meant for the state of Maine.

For more information, people may phone the Norlands at 897-4366.
