Farmington – Joseph Caldwell, M.D., has opened a orthopedic practice at Three Rivers Orthopedics, 175 Livermore Falls Road (Route 133).
Previously, Caldwell had practiced at Redington Fairview Hospital and Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Skowhegan and Pittsfield, respectively, for three years. Since 1989, Caldwell has been affiliated with a number of hospitals in Florida, New Jersey and Maine.
His professional interests include total joint replacement, hand surgery, and knee and shoulder arthroscopy. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed his orthopedic residency and general surgery internship at University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. He earned his medical degree at Hahnemann University School of Medicine, in Philadelphia. He has been an active staff member with Franklin Memorial Hospital since March.
Caldwell is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, Maine Medical Association and the New England Orthopaedic Society.
Three Rivers Orthopedics offers a full-range of orthopedic services including arthroscopy and fracture care, joint reconstruction, hand surgery, sports medicine and pediatric orthopedics.
