PERU – The Peru Extension Homemakers will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Peru School. Members are to bring articles for the nursing home basket. Kari Waterhouse will teach a valentine craft. Lunch will be potluck.

Ski races set

ANDOVER – The Pineland Ski Club will host ski races for all ages as part of the Andover Winter Carnival on Saturday, Feb. 28. Participants can sign in at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the elementary school. For more information, call Tim Akers at 392-4582 or [email protected].

An old fashion chemical free carnival ball will follow that night from 8 p.m. to midnight at the town hall. Dance to the music of the Stan Harden Orchestra. Refreshments available. Tickets on sale at Mills Market for $5. The celebration is part of Andover’s 200th birthday activities sponsored by the bicentennial committee.
