OXFORD – Seven members of the 22-member SAD 17 Board of Directors have terms that expire in March.

They are Ron Kugell and Kerry Halterman of Oxford; Nick Diconzo of West Paris, William Hanger of Waterford, Joe Vaillancourt of Otisfield, and Lew Williams and Elizabeth Swift of Hebron.

Those who are running for another three-year term are Kugell, Halterman, Diconzo, Hanger and Vaillancourt. Williams, who has served two terms, said he’s undecided about whether he’ll seek another term. Swift could not be reached for comment.

Calls to the town halls of the board members indicate that no other residents have come forward to challenge the incumbent school board members.

Each of the eight towns of the school district have at least two representatives. Larger towns have either three or four board members.

The elections will be held at the March town meetings in each of the towns.
