DIXFIELD – The town of Dixfield will hold a welcome home reception for Karl Knight at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at Dirigo High School in the Student Community Center. Knight was deployed with his military unit and has been overseas since last February. All community members are invited to attend.

‘Poker run’

BYRON – The Roxbury Slippery Sliders snowmobile club will host a poker run on Saturday, Feb. 21. The starting point is the Byron schoolhouse from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and lunch will be available.
