TrailBlazer has become a leader in the U.S. midsize SUV segment. TrailBlazer EXT tops the model lineup with its spacious third-row seat, handling seating for seven people, with added cargo space behind the third seat. A North Face Edition offers useful features for outdoor enthusiasts.
All-new features include a last-door locking feature and new 17-inch bright aluminum wheels. Interior design changes include a monochromatic instrument panel, cloth reclining bucket seats or two-tone leather seating surfaces.
Hydroformed steel frame side rails form a strong foundation for the truck’s overall strength, optimum structural feel and ride quality. Optional adjustable brake and accelerator pedals can be moved rearward nearly 3 inches for better positioning. Other options include sun visors with lighted vanity mirrors, electrochromic inside rearview mirror with temperature gauge and compass, leather seating surfaces with eight-way power driver and passenger seats, and power lumbar and leather steering wheel.
TrailBlazer EXT offers added power for pulling or payload with its optional 5.3L V-8 delivering 290 hp and 325 lb.-ft. of torque – this mates to a four-speed automatic transmission. An Autotrac four-wheel-drive system is standard on 4×4 models. Traction control is available as an option for two-wheel-drive models.
