The spinning has begun. Scott McClellan put so much spin into answers to questions asked by the press my head is spinning.
How come payroll records were found suddenly two days after Bush’s appearance on Meet the Press when they searched for them before the 2000 election and couldn’t?
Of course Bush got an honorable discharge – his daddy was a congressman with connections. And why won’t he release his medical records?
Bush said in his interview with Tim Russert: “Who can properly use American power in a way to make the world a better place?” What country is he planning on invading next: Iran, North Korea, China, Libya, Syria, Lebanon? He says we have a responsibility to feed the hungry. When is he going to begin to feed our millions of hungry children?
Lastly, we could save a lot of time, energy and money if the Justice Department subpoenaed Bob Novak to testify as to who gave him information leading to the outing of Ambassador Wilson’s wife. Another farce: Only one person on Bush’s hand-picked panel investigating intelligence failure has had any experience in that field.
