I will sleep so much better tonight knowing that my public servants at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection have done their due diligence by deporting Huei-Ju Yen back to Taiwan. After all, no hardworking, law-abiding, course taking, column writing, girlfriend of Ben Fletcher (one of Auburn’s sweetest guys and most outstanding athletes) should be allowed to remain on these shores.

If only she would’ve emulated the example set by Mohammed Atta – a man who faithfully observed all the provisions of his visa, right up until he slammed a jumbo jet into the World Trade Center.

God bless you, U.S. Customs. Keep up the good work.

Nancy E. Peters, Auburn
