1934 – 2004

AUBURN – John J. Daniels, 69, of 25 Pine St., Lewiston, died Thursday, Feb. 12, at Clover Manor, following a long illness.

Born in Bronx, New York City, Nov. 17, 1934, the son of Harry and Mildred (McDonald) Daniels, he came to Maine in 1960.

He married Cecile Brousseau on Jan. 27, 1962. He worked in shoe shops and BIW and was a member of Good News Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Cecile; three sons, John and Scott, both of Lewiston and Mark and his wife, Janet of Auburn; six grandchildren; and four sisters, Harriet Pinto and Rose Brantman, both of New York City, Mildred Young of Tennessee, and Frances Tevere of South Carolina.
