We have a movie which has an old lady in it, and she gets upset about something and she said “That makes me so mad I could spit.” That is about the way I felt when I read the headlines and article in Saturday’s paper.
Detective James Trask was going 10 to 20 miles over the speed limit when he caused the accident that he and the governor were in.
Information from the newspaper: There will be no repercussions for Trask driving too fast.”
I’d like to know why not? Just because someone is an important person, are they allowed to break the law? If that was me or any of my family or friends, we’d be in trouble for speeding.
Doesn’t that make a good example for our teenage drivers?
