BETHEL – U.S. Sen. Susan Collins will be the featured speaker at the Oxford County annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Feb. 28 in the Bethel Inn Conference Center.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, followed by a buffet dinner of baked ham with raisin sauce and sole roulade.
Collins will speak at 7:30 p.m. She chairs the Governmental Affairs Committee, which has oversight responsibilities for the Department of Homeland Security. Collins also is a member of the Armed Services Committee.
Tickets will be $25 for an individual or $45 for a couple.
Those attending must reserve in advance by sending a check and the names of all guests prior to Feb. 23 to Louanne Cameron, treasurer, Oxford County Republican Committee, 340 South Rumford Road, Rumford, ME 04276.
No tickets will be sold at the door; all checks should be made out to the Oxford County Republican Committee. Upon receipt of a check, a notice will be issued confirming the reservation.
