1921 – 2004

NORWAY – Edna E. Davis, 82, of South Paris died early Saturday morning at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Oxford July 6, 1921, the daughter of Edward and Margaret Smith Bressette.

She attended schools in Bridgton and had been a homemaker all of her life. She enjoyed playing cards with the ladies at Hill Street Commons.

She was married to Francis “Skeet” Davis, who predeceased her.

She is survived by a son, James and his wife Kerry of North Norway; a sister, Margaret Winship of Freeport; three brothers, Lewis Bressette of South Paris, Robert Bressette of Poland, and Ira Bressette of Lisbon; six grandchildren, Tammy Hill of North Norway, Michelle Phillips of Litchfield, Robert Davis of Norway, Matthew Davis of Massachusetts, Michael Davis of Norway, and Tiffany Davis of North Norway; two step grandchildren, Timothy Powers of Norway, and Lonnie Powers of Portland; and six great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Gloria Proctor; four brothers, Frank, Kenneth, Roger and Edward Bressette; and five sisters, Helen Letourneau, Barbara Smith, Geneva Weymouth, Jesse Grandmaison, and Irene Mayberry.
