BETHEL – Sen. Susan Collins will be the featured speaker at the Oxford County annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Bethel Inn Conference Center.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, followed by a buffet dinner of baked ham with raisin sauce and sole roulade.

Collins will present her program at 7:30. Collins is chairwoman of the Governmental Affairs Committee. This committee is responsible for the Department of Homeland Security. She also is a member of the Armed Services Committee.

Republicans in Oxford County have, for several years, held a dinner to honor Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president.

Tickets for the evening will be $25 for an individual or $45 for a couple. Those attending must reserve in advance by sending a check and the names of all guests prior to Feb. 23 to Louanne Cameron, treasurer, Oxford County Republican Committee, 340 South Rumford Road, Rumford, Maine, 04276. No tickets will be sold at the door and all checks should be made out to the Oxford County Republican Committee.
