Lisbon will pay $110 per thousand gallons of waste and $250 to cover an annual cost the Lewiston-Auburn Water Pollution Control Authority charges communities other than Lewiston and Auburn to use its facilities.

Selectmen set
land-use hearing
Selectmen set a public hearing on a proposed land-use ordinance for 7 p.m., March 10, at the Town Office. Town Manager Steve Musica explained that the town hasn’t passed a land-use ordinance to provide enforcement for provisions of the comprehensive plan passed in 2000.
Voters will determine the fate of the ordinance at the annual town meeting in June.
In other business, selectmen:
• decided to explore four options to replace a vintage 1980s grader: purchasing a new grader, buying a used one, renting one or contracting earthwork to a private contractor.
• asked Rescue Unit Director Tina Gowell to find a used vehicle that could function as a rescue vehicle. The current 20-year-old GMC rescue vehicle cannot pass inspection because of a rusted frame and other problems, Musica said. He said the town expects to spend between $10,000 and $20,000.
